In Memphis, AL, we provide a variety of windshield repair services, including chip and crack repair, water leak protection, and reinstallation of loose molding. Our most frequently requested service is chip repair. Repairing chips when they are small aims to prevent them from cracking. Cracks can be dangerous.
It is critical to repair chips and cracks immediately. Once a chip develops into a crack, it is impossible to repair. The windshield as a whole must be replaced. Unattended chips absorb water and other debris. Water absorbed by the chip can then freeze, resulting in lengthy, irreversible cracks. Debris absorbed by the chip can delaminate the glass, causing it to fog and become opaque, making it difficult to see through.

About Memphis, AL
Memphis, also known as Old Memphis, is a town in Pickens County, Alabama, United States. The population was 29 at the 2010 census, down from 33 in 2000. As long ago as 1850, it was listed as an incorporated community on the U.S. Census, but did not appear again on the rolls until its reincorporation in 1976.
In 1981, it had the \"dubious\" distinction of being ranked the poorest incorporated community in the United States according to the U.S. Census. As of 1984, then-Mayor Jimmy Williams (b. c1922) stated the town received just $2,000 per year from state tax receipts and federal revenue-sharing funds and a sum total of $40 in the bank. It was hoped the completion of the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway would help raise the standard of living for the town.
With 29 people, Memphis is the 525th most populated city in the state of Alabama out of 586 cities. But watch out, Memphis, because Bucks with 22 people and Dayton with 28 people are right behind you. The largest Memphis racial/ethnic groups are Black (82.7%) followed by White (10.3%) and Hispanic (3.4%). In 2019, the median household income of Memphis households was not available. However, 63.6% of Memphis families live in poverty. The median age for Memphis residents is 74.0 years young.
